On making

Every pop is rolled, dipped, and finished by hand — in batches small enough to notice when one isn't right.

01  The case

Seventeen flavours,
three tiers.

Classic is where most orders start. Specialty and Premium are for a table that wants something less expected — and mixing across all three in a single order is welcome.

02  How it works

Three conversations,
two weeks apart.

01  Consult

Tell us the day

The date, the guest count, and the palette you have in mind. You'll get a quote and a flavour plan back — not a form letter.

02  Craft

Baked that week

Rolled, dipped, and finished in the days before your event. Never made ahead, never in bulk.

03  Collect

Boxed and ready

Packed for transport and ready for pickup. Local delivery can be arranged for larger orders.

Please allow two weeks' notice — peak weekends book earlier

03  Ingredients

We would rather make sixty good ones than six hundred forgettable ones.

handcrafted daily

Nothing here is made at a scale that would let a poor ingredient hide. Batches are small on purpose: it is the only way to keep the crumb even, the shell thin, and the finish steady from the first pop to the last.

Butter, chocolate, vanilla, fruit — bought in small amounts and used quickly.

04  The baker

One kitchen,
one pair of hands.

Taste & See is a cottage bakery — a single home kitchen, a short list of things done properly, and a calendar that only takes what it can finish well. Every order is made by the same person who answers the phone.

That is also why the notice period is real. Two weeks is what it takes to bake, dip, and finish an order without rushing the part that makes it worth ordering.

05  Details

The things
worth asking.

01How much notice do you need?

Two weeks at minimum. Peak weekends — spring showers, graduations, December — book further out, so earlier is always better. If your date is inside two weeks, ask anyway; sometimes it works.

02What does an order cost?

Quoted per order. Flavour, finish, and quantity all move the number, so you'll get a real figure rather than a range that turns out not to apply. Send the date and a rough count and the quote comes back with it.

03Is there a minimum?

One dozen is the minimum, and most events land between three and ten dozen. Mixing flavours across an order is welcome — a table of four kinds reads better than a table of one.

04Can you match my colours?

Yes — finishes are matched to your palette. Send a swatch, an invitation, or a photograph of the table and it gets worked from that.

05Allergens and dietary needs?

Tell us what you're working around and we'll say honestly whether it can be done. Everything is made in a home kitchen that also handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, and tree nuts, so nothing can be guaranteed free of them.

06Pickup or delivery?

Pickup is standard, packed and boxed for transport. Local delivery across Dallas–Fort Worth can be arranged for larger orders — ask when you enquire.

06  Enquire

Tell us about
the day.

Six questions. You'll get a quote and a flavour plan back, usually within one business day.
